Recommended departure from LA by 6am as otherwise you may get stuck in the morning traffic rush on the mountain itself (up to 2 hours). Lunch on the mountain probably around 11am-Noon. Will target to return to LA by 7-8pm, some folks may stop for dinner (TBD).
❄️ Note that there are inherent dangers associated with skiing / snowboarding. Equipment rentals are available through Big Bear Mountain (est. $50) but are also available for rent in a variety of locations around the mountain as well. Helmets / goggles highly recommended. Remember to layer appropriately with snow gear, but you will also warm up when you get moving. Lockers are available for rent at the lodge. Stay warm and hydrated!
